AEMSA supports the regional communications framework that enables EMS to communicate with public safety and healthcare.  The ability to achieve interoperable communications is essential to the provision of patient care.  AEMSA owns and operates towers, frequencies, an 800MHz radio cache and is an active participant in the continued management of the 800MHz ARMER system owned and operated by the State of Minnesota.

With recent advances in communications technology the need to remain current and monitor trend shifts has become more important.  AEMSA serves as a regional representative on many local, regional and state committees and work groups to ensure continuity of information available to all EMS services in the region.  Finally, below you will find links to the latest version of the ARMER best practices for EMS and Hospitals.
